Pompeo, without offering evidence, blames Iran for Gulf tanker attacks

Washington (CNN)US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Iran for an attack on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman, saying the assessment was based on intelligence, but presented no evidence to support his claim. Suspicious doesn’t begin to describe what likely transpired this morning,” Zarif tweeted. Pompeo characterized the attack …

Why Did A Woman Start Lactating From Her Vulva?

Lactation is a perfectly natural process triggered by childbirth. Most of the time, breast milk comes from, well, the breast. However, in one particularly unusual case, an Austrian woman started lactating from her vulva. The incident was reported in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is the case of ectopic cells, i.e. cells or tissue that have somehow found themselves in parts of the body they shouldn’t be. The concept is not restricted to the breast and the vulva – taste cells have been found in the lungs and teeth cells have been found in ovarian tumors. In this case, after initially suspecting an abscess, the doctors ordered an ultrasound, which confirmed the presence of lactating breast tissue on the vulva. The ectopic breast tissue was …

The students were caught on camera and pleaded guilty, but the very woke students and administration at Oberlin decided to start protests and boycotts to destroy the family-owned business, claiming the owners were racist and had a history of racial profiling. Legal Insurrection reported that the punitive damages hearing would wrap up and the case head …

A Push to Protect Political Campaigns from Hackers Hits a Snag

Campaign finance laws prohibit businesses and even many nonprofits from directly contributing to political campaigns. They can’t even send pizza. Now, the United States Federal Election Commission may apply the same laws to block a cybersecurity firm from offering free or low-cost defense services to campaigns, at a time when those protections are badly needed. During the 2016 US presidential election, Russian hackers not only threatened election networks and voting systems, but wreaked havoc by targeting campaigns and political parties, particularly the Democratic National Committee, and leaking troves of sensitive data. The events showed the importance of implementing defenses against hacks like phishing, network intrusions, and denial of service attacks for even the most transient campaign efforts. But all long-running …
